meet darwin - the latest member of the family

No, it's not my new baby, it's my tortoise. Of course the one and only Charles Darwin was the inspiration for his name, because, you know, galapagos and stuff.

My mother got him for me for my 19th birthday in February, he was 18 months old then, but still so tiny, I couldn't imagine how small he would be as a new hatchling. Darwin is a Russian tortoise and his favourite food is kale and his least favourite is Cucumber.

I love him so much! I can literally watch him for hours. His tongue is so cute! It sounds weird, but just google it and you'll understand.
