I used to follow fashion shows a lot, but for some reason or other I stopped. Of course I come across pictures of them on instagram and blogs but I don't stay up all night just to watch it live on the internet anymore.

Cruise collections are rather confusing for me, I mean, what time of the year do they correspond to? I guess I'm no fashion expert.

Chanel Cruise Collection SS '15

Chanel are known for their elaborate runway settings and the cruise collection was no different. This year they were held in Dubai and the setting was very appropriate to the destinations. This collection features longer lengths and pattern. I'm not keen on some of the collection but the outfits shown above are some of my favourites. Also there was a gasoline can shaped bag (oh so relatable)... need I say more .

Dior Cruise SS '15

Dior held their show in New York's Brooklyn Yard. There were a lot more jackets than expected for a summer collection, but they are beautiful jackets nonetheless. I feel like the collection really conveyed the air of New York; with it's sharp lines and rigidity working with the fluid accents.

Sorry about the collection evaluation, sometimes I really enjoy evaluating stuff. I did art in sixth form and boy oh boy was there a lot of evaluating and although as tedious as it was I do sort of miss it.
