I am so obsessed with the 60s, especially the fashion of that era. I have collated a few images of my favourite outfits from some of my favourite people in the 60s. Why do I like 60s fashion? Well, I love the silhouette and the femininity of it without without the clothes being frilly and pink. Also... 60s hair people!
Influence from 60s fashion is always prevalent in one runway show or another in every single fashion week. The one I can remember from the top of my head is Nicolas Ghesquiere (is that how you spell it, I'm sorry Mr. Nicolas) for his first Louis Vuitton collection.
Who doesn't love Anna Karina? She has a great style, a fellow nautical clothes lover and she has enviable hair.
Francoise Hardy, my girl crush. She's french and she makes beautiful music and she happens to have great style. French and 60s go like bread and butter.
The Shrimp (Jean Shrimpton), unconventionally sexy. An iconic fashion model in the 60s. Very chic indeed!
Lastly, Twiggy. I cannot list a 60s inspiration post without including this babe. I just feel like she was one of the pioneers of 60s fashion.
